Philly’s Best Wings - Happy Superbowl!

February 3, 2008 by Melissa

The holiest day of the football season is upon us so in tribute to the big game, I’m offering my list of the best buffalo wings in the city (3 out of 4 Philadelphia natives agree with me! If you don’t, write back and tell me what I’m missing…)

Byrne’s Tavern, 3301 Richmond Street, Port Richmond. 215-423-3444. http://www.phillytown.com/byrnestavern.htm. Visit Mondays for half price wings (eat-in-only!)

McCrossan’s, 529 North 20th Street, Art Museum Area. 215-854-0923 http://www.mccrossens.com/. They also have awesome French Onion Soup.

Abbaye, 637 North Third Street, Northern Liberties. 215-627-6711. Order the Chimay-dipped wings and don’t miss the mac & cheese. Great beers on tap change daily.

And if you want to get wings every night, click here to search listings in Port Richmond, Art Museum and Northern Liberties (hey people have moved for sillier reasons than being close to great wings!) Looking for other homes? Check out my new website with enhanced search capabilities here or call or email with questions. Happy Superbowl Sunday!
