Philly “101″ — Fun With Google Maps Street View
We’re having fun updating our Phladelphia neighborhood pages here at the Hub. In addition to beefing up statistical data for each neighborhood’s real estate market, we’re also having fun with a new toy, Google’s Street View Map Feature.
In case you haven’t heard of this thing yet, it’s really a lot of fun, and will likely be very usefull to those of you reading this who have never been to Philly, but are considering a move.
Basically, google has taken a pretty comprehensive photo-walking tour of Philadelphia and has integrated the footage into their maps feature. So, by clicking on the little arrows
you find in the street you can walk all around Philadelphia without buying that pricey plane ticket! And…if you want a closer look, it’s as easy as clicking around the map window to zoom in, look up, or over at one of RE/MAX City Space’s great listings!
