Brigit Brust and Andrea Boelter

Dear Agents, Staff and Clients,

How thankful we are for all of you!

To our clients, we are thankful for you and your business. It has and will continue to be an honor to work with all of you. We will continue to strive to make sure your experiences with Re/Max City Space exceed your expectations and look forward to working with you more in the future.

Agents and Staff, you all have done a good job this year, and as we head into the holiday season we want to let you know that Re/Max City Space could not be what it is or what it will become without great agents such as yourselves. You move, you shake, you google map, you copy, you print, you yackety-yack, you drive, you joke, you sing (ok only a few of you sing), you make clients happy, you make the staff happy and you make us happy.

So this Thanksgiving, whether you celebrate the holiday or not – just know that we are thankful for you and all of the hard work you do for us. Eat, be merry, watch football, throw jello – whatever you do – we wish you relaxation and enjoyment!

Best,

Brigit and Andrea

Why Does The Seller Still Pay The Buyer’s Agent In Most Real Estate Transactions?

CITYSPACE | September 7th, 2008 | 1 Comment »

Greg Swann just made available a badge that links to his “A Consumer’s Guide To The Divorced Real Estate Commission” Ebook.

We’re proud to have the new badge posted in the sidebar of our blog pages.

Check out Greg’s post on BloodHoundBlog.Com for an introduction to the argument for having Buyer’s instead of seller’s pay the buyer agent’s commission.

Divorced Commissions Ebook

What’s your take?

Personally I think having buyer’s pay for their own representation would cause more buyer’s to choose carefully when picking an agent. Weaker agents would be forced to brush up on their skills, leave the biz, or (dare I say), cut their commissions? At the end of the day, it seems consumers would benefit from more choice, more effective representation, and perhaps better bang for their buck?
