The idea for GPF originated a little over a year ago when we found “Buster” hiding behind a construction dumpster between your house and ours. After adopting him we discovered how difficult it was to travel with two dogs – one being quite large – so we decided to create GoPetFriendly.com to make it easy for us and others to take our pets on vacation.

We launched the site two weeks ago with nearly 30,000 hotels and campgrounds (including detailed pet policies), thousands of fun activities, lots of restaurants, dog beaches, off-leash dog parks, and national parks that allow pets. You can also find pet sitters, doggie daycare, boarding facilities and pet supply stores – just in case! And, everyday we are adding new places to the database! Our goal is to connect pet lovers with businesses and service providers that will help make their travel experiences with their furry friends exceptional.
