Hey Folks! Just wanted to give ya’ll a heads up about a new web site devoted completely to helping people with pets find travel with leisure. The site lists umpti-zillion places you and your pet can go and will be accommodated. We here at CITYSPACE have found the web site extremely helpful, both for ourselves and our clients, and so we wanted to pass on the benefits to you. Read the post below from the founders of http://www.GoPetFriendly.com for more details.

The idea for GPF originated a little over a year ago when we found “Buster” hiding behind a construction dumpster between your house and ours. After adopting him we discovered how difficult it was to travel with two dogs – one being quite large – so we decided to create GoPetFriendly.com to make it easy for us and others to take our pets on vacation.

We launched the site two weeks ago with nearly 30,000 hotels and campgrounds (including detailed pet policies), thousands of fun activities, lots of restaurants, dog beaches, off-leash dog parks, and national parks that allow pets. You can also find pet sitters, doggie daycare, boarding facilities and pet supply stores – just in case! And, everyday we are adding new places to the database! Our goal is to connect pet lovers with businesses and service providers that will help make their travel experiences with their furry friends exceptional. We believe that if it is easier for people to travel with their pet more pets will get to go on vacation (Yea!!), and that will encourage more businesses to “Go Pet Friendly.”
