Dear Agents, Staff and Clients,

How thankful we are for all of you!

To our clients, we are thankful for you and your business. It has and will continue to be an honor to work with all of you. We will continue to strive to make sure your experiences with Re/Max City Space exceed your expectations and look forward to working with you more in the future.

Agents and Staff, you all have done a good job this year, and as we head into the holiday season we want to let you know that Re/Max City Space could not be what it is or what it will become without great agents such as yourselves. You move, you shake, you google map, you copy, you print, you yackety-yack, you drive, you joke, you sing (ok only a few of you sing), you make clients happy, you make the staff happy and you make us happy.

So this Thanksgiving, whether you celebrate the holiday or not – just know that we are thankful for you and all of the hard work you do for us. Eat, be merry, watch football, throw jello – whatever you do – we wish you relaxation and enjoyment!

These posts are all aggregated for easy viewing under our LeedPhilly category. In addition to some solid posts related to Eco-Friendly Financing and Energy Efficiency in general, other “green” PhiladelphiaRealEstateHub sub-categories include Rachel Lipton’s Nutter-Butter which will be tracking the Philadelphia mayor’s efforts and accomplishments as he works to make Philadelphia a greener city.

*Use of Paper Saving Technologies: It’s currently impossible to print something out from your computer at Remax City Space. Instead, agents and staff send a file electronically to the printer/fax/scanner, where the document is then printed only if truly necessary. Also, Remax City Space agents take pride in utilizing a wide range of products that help cut down on the huge amount of paper usage which has historically been associated with the typical Real Estate transaction. 90% (soon to be 100%) of our agents carry smart phones that allow for use of easy shuffling of files from one party to another via email. Most of our agents also utilize electronic fax programs, and a few of the crazy progressive ones are trying out digital signatures on the path toward conducting the 100% paperless transaction.

Our office is a non-corporate environment where independent contractors and teams can get the technical and operations support they need, while running their business in the way they choose. Our agents enjoy working and having fun, flourishing in this informal, but professional business setting.

Our sales associates have the freedom to negotiate directly with their clients, develop and implement their own marketing strategies, and conduct all types of real estate sales including commercial sales and leasing. It is still amazing to us that some companies forbid their agents from transacting commercial business. Not only do we not forbid it, but rather we encourage it.

Our sales associates have the opportunity to advertise when, where, and as often as they wish – no corporate directives from people on the other side of the country or from faceless “suits” who have not sold real estate. Not only do our sales associates decide how much to spend, they control how and where to spend it.

Innovative advertising campaigns are vital to the success of your own business and you probably are not even allowed to put your own name directly on your yard sign. Our sales associates are encouraged to put their names directly on their yard signs, place their name in the primary position, and put their photograph on the sign.

Don’t you think that you should be the focus of your own business? We do!

FACT: Consumers can actually find our sales associates on our website! Recent NAR statistics state that over 80% of consumers with Web access today search the Internet before they even contact or attempt to contact an agent about buying or selling real estate.

Today, if you look at our web site you will find that the agent search is prominently displayed. In fact, we do everything possible to drive the consumer to our Sales Associates.

Can you find yourself on your company’s website in less than 5 clicks? Forget the number of clicks, can you even be found on your company’s website at all? Does you name appear on your listings? If not, why? We certainly hope that it isn’t because your company is looking to capture the lead and feed it back to you or to an inexperienced or new agent at a ridiculously high referral fee.

Every day, we are pursuing new technology-based marketing strategies and improving our existing strategies. Currently these systems include text message capabilities, targeted drip campaigns, and a lead generation, incubation, and drip system. Our centralized database has the capacity to sustain additional off-shoot websites (at a cost of $50 a month per website) and can support a personalized database. Our current database has thousands of potential new construction buyers that can generate leads for your listings and your team.
