Shackamaxon Court is located in Fishtown at 1221-1227 E. Shackamaxon Street. Fishtown is one of Philly’s hippest up and coming neighborhoods, just northeast of Northern Liberties. The area continues to grow in popularity, due in part, to its friendly neighborhood atmosphere. The area also boasts some historical points of interest, including Penn Treaty Park, where William Penn is said to have formed his treaty with the local Native Americans. Shackamaxon Court is also a few blocks from the Waterfront, Penn Treaty Park and it is a stone’s throw from Northern Liberties. There is plenty of public transportation in the area as well.
